Immediately After Treatment
Mild redness and warmth is normal
(similar to a light sunburn) is normal
Apply cold compress if needed
Use soothing aloe vera or a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer
For the First 24–48 Hours
- Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs
- No strenuous workouts that cause heavy sweating
- Avoid tight clothing that may irritate the treated area
- Do not apply perfumed lotions, deodorants (if underarms treated), or harsh products
Sun Protection Is Essential
- Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 7–14 days
- Apply SPF 30+ daily on treated areas
- Do not use tanning beds or self-tanners
Sun exposure can increase the risk of pigmentation changes.
Hair Shedding Process
- Treated hairs will begin to shed within 7–14 days
- This is normal and part of the process
- Do NOT wax, thread, or tweeze between sessions
- Shaving is allowed
Swelling peaks at 24-48 hours
Most Swelling resolves in a few days
Skincare Guidelines
Avoid exfoliation
Retinoids, glycolic acids, or active treatments for 3–5 days
Keep skin clean and hydrated
Avoid chemical peels
or additional laser treatments until cleared
